Capital Appeal launch 

After working with the team at Thames Hospice on a Feasibility Study, they invited us back to help officially launch their Capital Appeal – to ‘Raise the Roof’! There was a high target to reach (just over £3 million), so we knew we needed to expand the scope of a regular DM appeal to include a Door Drop appeal, landing on the mats of over 100,000 houses in the Thames Valley area. The Thames team built the campaign with street parties, celebrity endorsements, a killer social media strategy and media partnerships.

 

 

 

Stage One of the Capital Appeal, ‘Raise the Roof’, officially launched at the start of September, and in 2 months Thames has already raised over £500,000 (with over £77k of that coming from this initial direct mail and door drop appeal!). It’s a perfect example of teams coming together – comms, marketing and events working alongside fundraising to create an amazing, all-encompassing ‘campaign’.
