An enduring legacy for patients and families
During the summer, when cash-asks take a holiday, St Wilfrid’s Hospice seized the opportunity to highlight the importance of legacy gifts. With their Make a Will month fast approaching, it couldn’t have been better timing.
Alongside a direct-mail campaign, we designed a comprehensive brochure sharing touching stories from the hospice. Case studies featured John, whose father’s Will included a gift to St Wilfrid’s and Christine, who made a pledge herself.
Both John and Christine recall the wonderful work of St Wilfrid’s during hard times, highlighting the true impact of gifts in wills.
Not only did the appeal secure brand-new legacy pledgers and fill up the spots in their Make a Will partnership with local solicitors, it also brought in an impressive amount of cash donations.
Due to its resounding success, we followed up with a wider mailing – as well as a door drop campaign.
