Springhill’s Resilience Campaign
Like many hospices and charities, Springhill Hospice in Rochdale had just about weathered the pandemic storm, but not without suffering terrible financial effects.
Short on time and resources, with a track record working alongside Pebblebeach in the past, they asked for help to kick 2021 off by engaging donors and inspiring their support.
Their Spring Resilience appeal did just that.

Featuring a heartfelt plea from Springhill doctor and Rochdale local Charlotte, as well as the hospice’s beloved mascot ‘Springy the frog’, supporters were also asked to send back a message of encouragement to help lift the spirits of exhausted nursing staff.
Combined with a digital campaign, the appeal stuck a chord with supporters in the Rochdale community, prompting an outpouring of support when it was needed most.

From Springhill Hospice
“Working with Pebblebeach again has been brilliant. After a challenging year with the pandemic their expertise and passion for Hospice care bridged the gap in our resource and helped us to produce a compelling and successful appeal. From the concept, working with our patient case study and data work their attention to detail, understanding of the work we do and their friendly and calm approach meant that we achieved a record response from our lovely supporters.”
