How we grew funds for Sobell House Hospice.
The challenge. Our friends at Sobell House Hospice needed their supporters to dig deep for a garden renovation. But at a time when people were struggling financially, how could we show that a new garden was a must-have not a nice-to-have?
Our solution. We immersed supporters in a world of colour, spring and warmth. Using illustration, we brought to life the wonder of the new garden. And using a map, we showcased the therapeutic benefits of every part of it. We partnered this with some powerful storytelling – featuring Peter’s beautiful words about his late, garden-loving wife, Anny.
The result. The appeal surpassed its fundraising target. It also attracted high value gifts. Sobell House were able to get straight to work with their transformation project – planting the seeds for a brighter future of care.
