Dorothy House came to us in 2018 wanting to deliver their first ever fundraising campaign. A new fundraising adventure, understandably, meant both nerves and excitement – but our team were there to reassure and inform them every step of the way. This gave them the confidence to deliver a hugely successful inaugural campaign, as well as the invaluable realisation of their charity’s fundraising potential.
The initial hurdle we faced was a limited data set, due to a comprehensive GDPR policy; we put time and effort to find a key group of individuals to produce the best results.
We narrowed down their long list of equipment to a punchy selection of six, which we turned into a full fundraising package, with all the bells and whistles – with direct mail and a fantastic digital strategy. The charity’s voice was always paramount; both within the campaign and in our relationship, from start to finish.
We left Dorothy House with an abundance of donations and newfound faith and knowledge in direct mail as a method of fundraising. They’re delighted and we are so proud to have delivered such an astonishingly successful first appeal to this wonderful charity, earning a spectacular £130,000 profit – more than triple their initial target!
