Dementia UK Remember a Star campaign
Seeing a 45% surge in calls to their Helpline in December alone, Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses found themselves under huge pressure to provide families and carers of dementia patients with the support they so desperately needed.
Dementia UK got in touch with us for help with their Remember a Star Christmas 2021 campaign. Our mailing featured Emma’s beautiful and emotional story about her mum, who was cared for by the wonderful Admiral Nurse, Linda.
Emma’s story, along with a personal letter and warming Christmassy visuals throughout touched the hearts of the charity’s supporters. Dementia UK’s campaign saw their average gift increase from the previous year.
And support from across the country came in when it was needed the most – crucially, this campaign meant that more nurses were there to support more people affected by dementia over the Christmas period.
