Remembering a star at Christmas
Dementia UK enlisted our help to deliver their annual Remember a Star Christmas campaign. With a 45% surge in Helpline calls in December alone, Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses were under huge pressure to provide families and carers of dementia patients the support they so desperately needed.
Our appeal featured Emma’s beautiful story about her mum, who was cared for by the wonderful Admiral Nurse, Linda.
Emma’s story, along with a personal letter and warming festive visuals throughout touched the hearts of the charity’s supporters. Dementia UK’s campaign saw their average gift increase from the previous year.
And support from across the country came in when it was needed the most – this campaign meant that more nurses were there to support more people affected by dementia over the Christmas period.
