Neil Munro

With over 20 years’ experience, Neil specialises in event management within both the corporate and charity sectors. Neil started his career delivering corporate events for companies such as Sony, Danone, Royal Bank of Canada and Spa. Neil then spent 11 years at CARE International UK, heading up the CARE Challenge Series – managing and delivering charity challenges in mountainous and outdoor environments. His work included pioneering the charity’s Walk In Her Shoes campaign.

After several years developing Wide Horizons’ events fundraising programme, he’s since worked as a freelance event manager on both the charity side delivering events for Breast Cancer Care, TwentyTwenty and Terence Higgins Trust and for large event companies like Action Challenge, PIE Events, Run Series Ltd, London Marathon Events, IMG and Virgin Sport.
